Keepost
Privacy
Last updated August 22, 2026. This policy is for Keepost only — the iOS app that keeps native video from public X posts in Photos.
Who we are
Keepost is operated by Yiling Labs. Contact: keepost@yilinglabs.com.
No Keepost account
Keepost does not create a user account, does not sign you into X, and does not ask for an X password. You are not required to provide a name or email to use the app.
What you send us
When you keep a post (after an active subscription), the app sends the public post link you shared or pasted to our parse service at keepost-api.yilinglabs.com. The service returns that post’s native video addresses. We do not follow quoted posts. We do not accept other sites.
Requests are gated with App Attest / DeviceCheck-shaped device credentials and a per-device rate limit, so the parse interface is harder to use as a public video API. Those credentials identify a device, not a person.
What stays on your device
Video files are written to the system Photos library using Photos Add Only. Keepost does not read your photo library, does not browse Limited Library, and does not keep a second copy of the video inside the app.
The in-app list is an index of posts you kept: the post link, time, author, text snippet, thumbnail URL from parse, and video count. That index lives on the device. Deleting a row deletes the index, not the file in Photos.
Subscription
Keeping requires an App Store subscription. Purchase, restore, and billing are handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card number. We see whether the subscription for this app is active so we can allow or refuse a keep.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifier. Keepost does not run ads and does not request App Tracking Transparency.
- No analytics SDK. We do not measure screens, funnels, or marketing attribution.
- The pasteboard is read only when you tap Paste (or paste into the field). Opening the app does not read the clipboard.
Crash reports
The client may send crash reports so we can fix failures after share-in. Parse success and failure are logged on the server for reliability and abuse control, not for advertising.
Public posts and age
Keepost will keep native video from any public post you point it at, including user-generated content that may be adult. The App Store rating is 17+. We do not filter NSFW material.
Retention
Device indexes remain until you delete the row or remove the app. Server logs and rate-limit records are kept only as long as needed to operate and protect the parse service. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
You can delete keep records in the app, delete videos in Photos, cancel the subscription in Apple subscriptions, and revoke Photos access in iOS Settings. To ask a question, write to keepost@yilinglabs.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
